Lewes Presbyterian Church Staff

  • Gregory P. Wiest


    Rev. Gregory P. Wiest joined Lewes Presbyterian as Pastor on November 1, 2018. Greg has been a Presbyterian Pastor since 1992 and has served Christ in a variety of settings and roles. He and his wife Laura met at Virginia Tech in their freshman year and have been married since 1986. They have three adult children: Nathan, Maggie and Claire, as well as a daughter in Law, Brittany, and a grandson, William.

  • Denise Barnes

    Pastoral Assistant

    Denise, a native of Lewes DE and a "Beebe Baby" (born in Beebe Hospital) came to LPC 27 years ago and started her job as Pastoral Care Coordinator in 2014. In addition to her work in our Caring Ministry, she also leads our Youth and Children's Ministry. She and her husband, Bob live in Lewes and have two daughters.

  • Barbara Barkdoll

    Office Administrator

    Barbara is a Kansas native; she and her husband, Clarence Bauman, retired from Kansas State University in 2011 and moved to Delaware to be closer to family although it was difficult to leave the Kansas grandchildren. Finding Lewes Presbyterian Church has been inspiring, especially the LPC family.  Barbara joined the LPC staff in March, 2019.   

  • Cathy Heronemus

    Business Manager

    Cathy and her husband, Bill, live in Lewes DE. She and Bill previously owned Henlopen Electronics, and when Bill retired in 2005, Cathy came to work at LPC. She and Bill have two daughters and two grandchildren.

  • Melanie Bradley

    Music Director

    Melanie first came to LPC in early 2002 as organist. She has since taken on the responsibility of leading the Praise Band at the 9 a.m. contemporary worship service and the duties of Choir Director. She lives in Lewes DE with her husband, Jason, and their two sons.

  • Teresa Lockerman           

    LASP Director

    Teresa leads our Lewes After School Program (LASP). This program, started in 2003, is an educational mission of LPC designed to help at-risk children attending Shields Elementary School succeed in school, and in life. Teresa also teaches Sunday school and lives in Millsboro DE with husband, Gary.
