Adult Studies

The mission of Adult Education is to offer a variety of learning settings for both the seeker and the follower of Jesus Christ in order to equip believers with resources and fellowship opportunities necessary for Christian maturity. We believe our mission will be accomplished by exploring and studying the Word of God, by instilling and nourishing a deep love for God’s Word, and by providing a foundational understanding of the Christian faith.

Due to Covid-19 restriction of in-person gatherings at the church, both Sunday Morning Adult Sunday School classes are being held virtually using Zoom, and have been scheduled on weekday evenings.  When the restrictions are lifted, these classes will resume in person on Sunday morning.

  • 8:15 am Adult Bible Study

Now meeting Virtually by Zoom on Tuesday Evenings at 7:30 pm beginning September 8th.

Know God? Know Jesus. How can we get to know God without creating God in our own image? We know God because we know Jesus. Our relationship with God changes us. This study encourages people to grow in their faith by studying the Bible together and then be the salt of the earth and light of the world—at home, at work, and in our communities. The Bible is a rich resource that is all about the human experience with God.

This study is led by Clarence Bauman and Barbara Barkdoll. Please contact them if you have any questions or would like to join the study group.

  • Bible Study Fellowship

Bible Study Fellowship (BSF) is an in-depth, interdenominational Bible study that helps people know God and equips them to effectively serve the church throughout the world. In more than 1,000 classes in 39 countries, people of all ages, races and cultures participate in BSF, whether they are discovering God's Word for the first time or have studied the Bible over a lifetime.

Bible study draws us closer to God and helps us better understand Him, His Word and His love. Through a stronger relationship with God, members have discovered how to build better and stronger relationships with others at home, work, school and in our communities. In the more than 50 years since our founding, hundreds of thousands of men, women and children have participated in BSF. Many have gone on to assume leadership positions in their churches and to serve God in other ministries.
