Lewes Presbyterian Church Soup Ministry, Kids for Christ
4th Fridays, 6:00- 8:30 p.m. October - May
This program emphasizes learning about and building faith in Jesus Christ through music, drama, Bible stories, crafts, games, and snack time. Dinner is included for all attending the program. About 70 children, as well as 20 adult and preteen/teen volunteers attend KFC. We welcome all children in the community to join us for Kids for Christ.
Children are divided into age groups--ages three to kindergarten, first and second grade, third and fourth grade, and fifth and sixth grade. Each group is then led by volunteer adults through a series of centers--crafts, drama, games and snacks--all coordinated with the Bible story of the evening. This program uses Faith Weaver for its curriculum.
The Lewes Presbyterian Church is blessed to host a soup ministry weekly on Tuesdays from 11:00 a.m. to 1 p.m. The ministry strives to serve a nourishing luncheon to feed the body and the spirit. All are invited to join us for food and fellowship. Donations to support the ministry are welcome. The ministry operates from Fall to Spring.

Also, on the same day as the dinner, Lewes Presbyterian Church offers gently used and new coats to anyone needing a warm coat for the approaching cold days.
Gently used & new coats are now being accepted (to be distributed to those in need at the Thanksgiving dinner) Please place used and new adult and children's coat donations in the Coat Box in the Welcome Center, and/or financial donations to LPC Church Office.
